Cancellation windows listed below. I am just one person running these workshops so please be kind and I will do my best to work with you. I am not able to accommodate rescheduling classes at this time, so you’ll need to wait for the next month’s class drop if you want to book another class. If I need to cancel for any reason, you will receive a full refund and as much notice as possible.
14+ days from class - full refund minus processing fees
13-3 days from class - 50% refund minus processing fees
No refunds for classes cancelled within 3 days/72 hrs of class. Thank you for understanding!

Stained glass is somewhat physical, including use of both hands, and moving back and forth between stations. I am committed to accommodating as many folks as possible, so please email me if you have specific concerns and we can do our best to figure out a solution. I am neurodivergent and strive to provide an inclusive environment by keeping class sizes very small and providing as much detailed information about what to expect as possible, but if I missed something please let me know.

The Bridgeport Art Center is quite large! Please park in visitor parking (anywhere except the lot right by the North Entrance door/loading docks). Enter via the North Entrance and walk down the stairs to the River level. Pass by the large anchor and right across from the elevator, you will see the signs indicating Riverview Workshop. The door will be open! Your confirmation email will include my phone number, so feel free to call or text me if you get lost finding the studio–the art center can be a bit of a maze but I am very close to the entrance.

My stained glass classes take place in a shared workshop environment that is primarily used by woodworkers. We will be in the back corner by my studio, but be mindful there can be loud noises, power tools etc. For that reason I am limiting classes to 18+ for now, but hope to expand to larger age ranges in the future. Feel free to bring ear protection like earplugs if you are sensitive to sounds.

Aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes that can get a little dirty and close toed shoes. PPE such as eye protection, gloves and a mask will be provided. Note, the studio is VERY warm in winter, so I suggest wearing layers. There is no AC in the summer and it gets warm even with windows open/fans running. Plan accordingly!

No food or drink is provided during class, but you are welcome to eat or drink in the space. Bring any (non alcoholic) beverages you’d like in a container with a lid so it’s safe from glass bits. Keep in mind class is pretty fast paced and you will be wearing PPE during a lot of it so I suggest eating before class if possible! The BASE Community Cafe attached to BAC has fantastic light food, but be aware they are closed on Sundays.

Instruction forward class with plenty of 1:1 help. I will do my best to explain the “why” behind every step of the process so you not only walk away with some beautiful art, but also a firm grasp of the copper foil stained glass method.
Also! I am pro-LGBTQIA+, Free Palestine, pro-immigrant, pro-liberation for all oppressed people. Though the subject matter of my classes isn’t explicitly political, I am very vocal about my values and committed to creating an environment that is inclusive and safe for marginalized people. I believe in spending your money with folks who align with your values so just want to be super clear about what type of person/art practice you are supporting if you join me for a class!

Sure! Please email me to inquire about private classes. I require 3 guaranteed attendees, and can accommodate up to 4. Info to include when you email me: # of attendees, what you want to learn, 2-3 date/times that work for all of you. Unfortunately due to space limitations, I cannot accommodate more than 4 folks at a time.

I do not offer any flameworking classes. I suggest reaching out to Firebird Community Arts for group or private flameworking!

I will have a small amount of work available for purchase at my studio at times when I don’t have markets, but the majority of my completed pieces are not in the studio. If you’re looking for a specific piece, let me know as much in advance at possible so I can try to have it available!
