Stained glass is somewhat physical, including use of both hands, and moving back and forth between stations. I am committed to accommodating as many folks as possible, so please email me if you have specific concerns and we can do our best to figure out a solution.
My studio is on the second floor which is wheelchair accessible via a freight elevator. Please let me know in advance so I can be ready to help you operate it!
I am neurodivergent and strive to provide an inclusive environment by keeping class sizes small and providing as much detailed information about what to expect as possible, but if I missed something please let me know.

My studio is located at 4015 W Carroll Ave, Suite 202 (second floor) in Garfield Park, Chicago.
The entrance is in the back of the building. Drive around the alley between Lake Ave and Carroll Ave—there’s a large sign for the Chicago Tool Library indicating where to go! There is plenty of free parking in the lot with signs for the tool library. Buzz in through the door directly by the alley and head upstairs to Suite 202!
My studio is only open during scheduled classes for registered students, so please email or DM me if you’d like to come by to shop for artwork or any other reason.

Aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes that can get a little dirty and close toed shoes. PPE such as eye protection, gloves and a mask will be provided.

No food or drink is provided during class, but you are welcome to bring snacks. Bring any (non alcoholic) beverages you’d like in a container with a lid so it’s safe from glass bits.

Instruction forward class with plenty of 1:1 help. I will do my best to explain the “why” behind every step of the process so you not only walk away with some beautiful art, but also a firm grasp of the copper foil stained glass method.
Also! I am pro-LGBTQIA+, Free Palestine, pro-immigrant, pro-liberation for all oppressed people. Though the subject matter of my classes isn’t explicitly political, I am very vocal about my values and committed to creating an environment that is inclusive and safe for marginalized people. I believe in spending your money with folks who align with your values so just want to be super clear about what type of person/art practice you are supporting if you join me for a class!

Absolutely! Please email me to inquire about private classes. I require 4 guaranteed attendees, and can accommodate up to 6. Info to include when you email me: # of attendees, what you want to learn, 2-3 date/times that work for all of you.
There is no additional charge for a private class, pricing is based on which project you’d like to make and aligns with my normal class pricing.
So if you prefer to glass with only your pals or at a time I normally don’t offer, this is a great option!

Although a lot of the art I sell is flameworked, I do not offer any flameworking classes. I suggest reaching out to Firebird Community Arts for group or private flameworking!

Yes! Selection will vary depending on what markets I have coming up, so definitely let me know in advance if there’s a specific piece you’re looking for.
